Cibona announced Rawle Marshall

Cibona announced Rawle Marshall(2.01-SF) who played for Hemofarm last season. There were rumors about the replacemnt of Earl Calloway -he has actually returned from the States that he went to for family reasons- and Marshall plays in a completely different position so it seems unlikey to replace him, given the fact that Cibona needed a point-guard the past few days and Marshall is nothing near a point-guard.

Marshall who played in the Adriatic League last season for Hemofarm, is an avid scorer and a competent rebounder. Coming out of Oakland University he wasn't drafted in 2005 but managed to win a contract with Dallas who traded him to Indiana in July 2006, having spent some time in the NBDL. In Indiana he played 40 games before moving to Europe. As a player of Hemofarm he averaged 15.7 points and 3.8 rebounds in 22 games in the Adriatic League.

Rawle Marshall's a good pickup, even if it didn't directly address the PG need. I see an uncultivated Josh Howard in his game. I think Rawle will be back in the NBA before it's all over.
