According to express.gr, Kavala BC want to renew the contract of Giedrius Gustas(1.90-PG) for another season. The lithuanian point-guard signed with Kavala in January after leaving Barons LMT. The team could not afford his contract anymore and so Gustas was free to go and find a new contract. He replaced the french veteran Alain Digbeu, who returned to France for personal reasons.
Interest in the player was also expressed by czech team Nymburk but it seems that Kavala might have a bit of an edge in communication with the player. He averaged 8.9 points 1 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 13 games with Kavala in the greek A1 league.
